The Number One Question

  • Before I dove into photography I didn’t know all that went into curating a beautiful photo. Just snap the photo and you’re done, right? Ha, I wish it was that easy! Below I have provided insight to the expenses and time spent in curating personalized beautiful priceless photos.

  • The cost of photography accounts for the following expenses to a photograher:

    1) Equipment ($3-$6K+ depending upon which lens(es) are utilized)

    2) Time spent taking photos

    3) Time spent editing photos (depending on the project it can take 14-20+ hours)

    4) Editing software

    5) Software to provide a beautifully curated and personal gallery to share with family & friends

    6) Scheduling software

    7) Items that add value to the photos- swaddles, props, etc.

    8) Travel time

    9) Permits (if needed for specific locations)

    10) Education

    11) Equipment rental fees

    etc.

  • As you can see there is a lot of time, sweat, and love that goes into making sure your keepsake photos are thoughtfully curated for you.

My clients typically spend a minimum of $250 in total for sessions and prints.
